Intuit Hits a Homerun in the World Series of Finance Software with TIBCO

 

The Major League Baseball championship games are around the corner, but for the first time ever, there is an added step on the road to the World Series. In March, MLB commissioner Bud Selig announced an agreement between the league and the Players’ Association to expand the playoffs to 10 teams by adding a second wild-card team in each league. From now on, the two teams with the top records among the non-division winners will have to square off in a one-game wild-card round. The change makes the championship rounds fairer and reward division champions. Teams can no longer play for second place and be satisfied.
